Vermonte Carlo 2011

Vermonte Carlo featuring

The Detonators

Join us for the 10th annual Vermonte Carlo casino and silent auction night on Friday, April 8th, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. at the Sugarbush Gatehouse Lodge at Lincoln Peak.

Get your groove on with the Detonators while you dance away the mud season blues. Bid at the silent auction, eat great food and, of course, try your luck at the gaming tables. Poker, Roulette, Black Jack and other tables will be there for high rollers and lucky beginners.

All of the tickets sold are entered into a raffle for the Grand Prize-Sugarbush Season Pass 2012. Thanks to the local area businesses we have an extensive list of silent auction items ranging from exotic vacations to spa services, original artwork, food and clothing. The hot items this year include season passes to Mad River Glen, Ole’s and Blueberry Lake, Jay Peak weekend getaway for two, Bonnaroo Music Festival tickets, one week vacation at Jupiter Beach FL, and over 60 other items.

Put on your mud boots and your glitz and get ready for one of the top mud season events. Tickets can be purchased at Mad River Garden Center, Fayston School, Tempest Book Shop or at the door for $20.

Vermonte Carlo is an evening not to be missed you can dance, bid, play and win. Put on your poker face, wear your dancing mud boots and get ready for a night to remember. We will award a “Mystery Prize” for the FUNKiest mud boots.

All of the proceeds from this fun event will go to support the Fayston Elementary School PTO. In turn the Fayston PTO funds School's Computer Lab, Library, Artist in Residence Program and miscellaneous classroom expenses.

The event is generously sponsored by Bourne’s Energy and Sugarbush Resort.

The Detonators-You can typically find this local band on the slopes of Sugarbush and Mad River Glen rocking ski parties and packing dance floors from the beginning of the season until the last chair spins in May. The combination of Aaron’s big bass sound, powerful voice, Tom Hooper’s rock solid drumming, and a song list full of good time party favorites is guaranteed to get any crowd on its feet.

Fayston Elementary School is a small, neighborhood school with approximately 100 students attending grades pre-kindergarten through six. The school is located on German Flats Road near the base of Sugarbush’s Mount Ellen.
